Let's #endperiodpoverty

More than 800 million girls miss school one week per month because they need to menstruate and don't have access to sanitary pads.

We're a student-led non-profit on a mission to distribute sanitary pads to girls who need them. We tutor kids, sell snacks, host fundraisers, and even wash dogs to raise money.

If you'd like to help, please donate cash using the link below - 100% of it goes into buying and distributing pads. If you'd like to donate pads or volunteer time, please reach out to hello@giftapad.org.

Impact

“Women's Hygiene Foundation provided Building Futures with full-sized body wash and small-shampoo bottles to support the clients of Building Futures. These donations will go to the clients at one of our three emergency shelters in Alameda County, a family new to housing as part of our permanent supportive housing program, or to an outreach client we are working tirelessly to house. Thank you to Lalitha for the generous donation and support.”

- Emma Falley, Building Futures

“This letter documents that Lalitha Kalle and the Women’s Hygiene Foundation made a donation of women’s hygiene products to Operation Dignity on December 23, 2021. The donor reports a $425 value for these items.”

- Katie Derrig, Operation Dignity

In October 2021, we hosted a paint night, in which 20 people participated. One of our moms taught everyone how to paint a beach scene step-by-step.
